Habitat for Humanity of Collier County is marking a major milestone on March 18th when we raise the walls on our 2,000th home, located at 5206 Hardee Street in Naples Manor. The event will begin at 10 a.m. and all are welcome to attend. Volunteers, donors, staff, neighbors and the home’s future owners will join in celebrating the milestone and the legacy of Habitat Collier’s late CEO, Dr. Sam Durso, who funded the construction of the home.
Highlights will include remarks by Habitat Collier’s Executive Directors Lisa Lefkow and Nick Kouloheras as they review the affiliate’s history of success. The ceremony will culminate in the raising of the home’s walls in tribute to Dr. Sam Durso.
Please note that Hardee Street will be closed for the morning between Floridan Avenue and Georgia Avenue. To access the event from the south, please turn right onto Broward Street from US 41, then turn left onto Floridan Avenue. To access the event from the north, turn left onto Johns Street from US 41, then turn right onto Floridan Avenue.
