Having realized the dream of home ownership through the generosity of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Marie Civil beamed with joy.
“My babies are so happy, and that makes me happy,” Marie said.

Marie, her husband Alix and their three children visited Emmanuel this past Sunday to offer thanks to the congregation. In their Sunday’s best, the Civil family presented Pastor Steve Wigdahl a letter of gratitude during the worship service.
“Thank you so much for being a helping hand to me and my family,” Marie wrote.
Not only did the Civil family want to share their note of thanks but they wanted everyone at Emmanuel to see the overwhelming happiness on the faces of their children. Alix and Marie knew this would be the greatest act of gratitude they could show the congregation.
